A Lift anti-aging series

A serious of six, eight or 12 individually designed programs to gain maximum results in anti-aging and firming the skin. Each treatment is performed weekly for fast effective results. All treatments include pre-exfoliation, enzyme therapy, Dermafield infusions and Hydrophilic massage. Homecare products are essential during the A Lift.

A Lift is designed for the tightening and firming of sagging, sun damaged and aged skin.

A series of anti-aging treatments will be designed on an individual basis which depends on your individual needs. It utilises DMK Muscle Banding technique to tighten and tone the skin, while triggering motor point of the muscle to lift and firm the skin.

A gradual removal of dead skin occurs over the period of six, eight or 12 weeks depending on the recommended number of courses needed. The A Lift provides amazing results in dramatically reducing redness and unsightly capillaries and reducing unwanted dilated pores. The A lift provides these results without any peeling or down time.

The products recommended during the A Lift series include DMK cleanser, Vitamin C, Beta Gel, Herb and Mineral Spray, Seba E, Night Firming cream, Transdermal Sun Block, Revise A and EFA supplements. The appropriate products will be prescribed depending on the individual.

The A Lift series is highly recommended following the DMK Six Layer Peel

What is an A-Lift and what can it treat?
A-Lift is a treatment program intended to stimulate, tone and tighten the underlying structure of the skin by combining unique DMK products with the DMK muscle banding application technique. It is designed for use on mature, lipid-dry skin. It may be used on most skin types (except people with a typically darker oriental or sub-continental complexion and some darker skin tones which can be prone to pigmentation).

A-Lift utilizes pro alpha #1, prozyme, melanoplex drops and enzyme masque #1 during the program to exfoliate dead cells, flush and expel toxins; exercise, tone and tighten the skin and facial muscles; and help improve skin functioning to assist in the rebuilding of stronger, healthier tissue. A-Lift is a program of 12 treatments over a period of 12 weeks. While A-Lift should give a definite improvement and restore health to the skin, topical chemistry cannot guarantee a 100% outcome and the technician cannot provide a definite timeframe in which to expect optimum results. Results will vary from person to person as each individual’s skin will respond differently.

What is the procedure for an A-Lift?
1. The technician will pre-book each of the 12 sessions for your treatment program.
2. On the day of each A-Lift Treatment, the technician will cleanse your skin and then apply the predetermined procedures for the relevant treatment of your program. The technician will finish each treatment by applying a range of DMK products designed to provide transdermal nutrition to your skin.
3. Beginning the day after the first A-Lift treatment, you should follow the daytime Home Prescriptives regime prescribed by the technician.
4. During the program you must follow the nightly Home Prescriptives regime of alternating revise-A with seba-e, nite firming crème and aminodine spritz.
5. Do not sunbathe or use a solarium for 24 hours after the treatments. After 24 hours you must apply transdermal sunblock if you are going to have any exposure to the sun. Should you choose, you can start using makeup as desired.
6. You may have some superficial peeling. You must not pull, pick, or scratch at the dead skin. To do so will increase the chance of infection. It is very important that you allow this skin to detach naturally.
7. You should use your regular DMK Home Prescriptives and continue with the professional maintenance treatments in order to maintain your results.

NOTE: This treatment should give improvement and restoration to the appearance of the skin. However, each individual’s result will vary depending on their skin type and condition. While many will be satisfied with just one treatment, others may require several treatments over a period of time to achieve their desired results.

Are there any possible side effects?
It is possible that you may experience some of the following temporary contraindications as a result of this treatment.
• Swelling or tightness of the skin.
• Redness and irritation of the skin. This may be relieved by applying beta gel, ice or natural yoghurt.
• Stinging or burning sensation to the skin.
• Blistering, weeping or scabbing of the skin. If this occurs, notify your practitioner and begin using an antibacterial salve or other treatment as prescribed by your physician to avoid possible infection.
• An outbreak of pimples if impurities have been locked under the skin.
• Crusty, dry patches followed by peeling of the skin.
• Darkening of skin prior to exfoliation as underlying pigment moves to the surface.
• Increased photosensitivity of the skin. This may be reduced by using transdermal sunblock.

Although these contraindications may be uncomfortable, they should not result in any permanent damage as long as you inform your technician of any problems and follow any instructions you are given. As with any treatment, there is always a very small possibility that you could have a negative reaction that the technician could not predict.
